WARP IKAT WORKSHOP
August 31 & September 1, 4, 5, 2019 (Weekend/Evening Course)

This course is an advanced undertaking for weavers who have worked their way through at least three previous workshops. Over the course of five days we will wind warps, apply resist tape, dye, and weave a warp ikat wall hanging. Final pieces will be roughly 18” x 20” depending on the weaver’s speed. We will be using 10/2 cotton at 20 ends per inch, dyed with Procion MX dyes in black and indigo as preferred.

Be advised:
This workshop is only open to participants who have already attended an introductory weaving workshop and at least two intermediate courses!

TIME: 9:00AM-1:00PM Sundays + Saturdays, Weekdays
5:00PM-9:00PM Weeknights

Note: Eat before you weave. Bring a clean snack if you get peckish as this workshop takes place during lunch on weekend days / supper time on weeknights!
